China’s yuan slumps to seven-month low on weaker guidance
- On Tuesday, China’s yuan fell to its lowest level against the dollar in seven months, as the dollar strengthened due to a rise in U.S. yields.
- The yuan’s decline was also influenced by a change in the central bank’s daily guidance, suggesting that authorities may be willing to let the yuan depreciate further.
