Officers with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call over an unusual item at a flea market, on Saturday.
SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. (WSPA) – Officers with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call over an unusual item at a flea market, on Saturday.
The complainant, Catherine Levy, told officers that a month ago a man had donated a box of miscellaneous items to her flea market. One item included a grenade.
Levy called police to report the grenade and believed it to be live.
Officers said that the grenade was not live.
