CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Girls For A Change hosted its Camp Diva Leadership Annual Market Day on Friday.

On Friday, July 26, from noon to 4 p.m., Camp Diva Leadership hosted an Annual Market Day in Chesterfield.

According to Girls For A Change, the Camp Diva participants engaged in entrepreneurship workshops to create products and prepare for vending at Market Day. The participants learned customer service, product packaging and presentation, pricing and other business skills.

“Camp Diva Leadership Academy is celebrating its 20th Anniversary, and this will be our last Market Day in our current building before it is knocked down and re-built as a fully modern center that meets our needs,” said Girls For A Change CEO Angela Patton. “I invite the community to kick off Black August early by joining us for Market Day and supporting these aspiring Black entrepreneurs.”
