URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — Urbana’s former Dart factory closed last year. Now, it’s on the market.
It’s being offered as a 269,000 square-foot manufacturing plant available to buy or lease. The plant is located on East Main Street. It’s been listed on the market for just a few days.
Production ended in October 2023. 135 people were laid off. The facility had been in operation since 1972 and was a Solo Cup plant up until Dart bought it out in 2012.
